Because we have been there ourselves, we know that these illnesses are first and foremost about people.  A brain tumor or brain cancer diagnosis is often devastating to the patient and their family.  Remaining positive throughout the fight that ensues is key to survival, but can also be a difficult thing to accomplish.  That is why we would like to share with you this inspiring and personal story of one family’s survival presented here in their own words.

The Goitia Family

Our story is about faith and hope. It started during a year of struggle and hardship. Like it was for many families, the economic crisis of 2008-2009 was a hard time for us financially. Business was hard and struggled to make ends meet. I remember that we were just trying to survive and get by with enough to cover our electric and water bills.
