Miami Brain Tumor Coalition  participates in Duke’s 20th annual Angels Among Us Walk!

Miami Brain Tumor was proud to be part of  20th annual fundraiser for The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. The 2013 Angels Among Us event raised a record $2,015,618 for brain tumor research!

It was a great weekend.  Tony Goitia also attended the Duke Brain Tumor Program board of advisers meeting at the Washington Duke Inn. There he learned many exciting and hopeful news about the future. For one, Duke has 120 patents on vaccine for several types of cancer. Also Duke brain tumor patients have the longest survivor rates nationwide.
