About MBTC

Welcome to the Miami Brain Tumor Coalition (MBTC). We are a charitable organization dedicated to finding a cure for brain tumors and brain cancer (BT/BC). We know and understand what you are going through and that this family of illnesses is first and foremost about people because we have walked in your shoes. At MBTC we want you to know that you have a friend who understands what you are going through and that you are not alone in this fight.

That being said and before telling you more about us, if you are a newly diagnosed BT/BC patient or have a newly diagnosed family member or friend; please go directly to our “Patients, Friends & Family” page for more practical information.

This organization was founded by a small group of people who have directly experienced BT/BC in their lives. We believe that this gives us a unique perspective in the fight for a cure and gives us a strong platform to act as your advocate. At MBTC we believe that the only way to vanquish a monster as formidable as BT/BC is for all of us to work together.

MBTC was founded to help unite the labors of patients, friends, family, caregivers, foundations, doctors, researchers and companies into one cohesive effort. At MBTC our goals are simple: eradicate brain cancer and help those affected by it. We do this vital work by supporting cutting edge research; assisting patients, friends, and family find very much needed resources; working with hospitals and community organizations to increase awareness and education; and, through our advocacy program.

It is our hope that you would unite with us in the fight to end brain cancer in few distinct ways. First, we ask that you “Join the Coalition.” Second, we humbly ask that you make a monetary contribution in support of MBTC. Third, thoroughly explore and use this website. Finally, and most importantly, help us spread the word about MBTC by sharing us with your friends and family, liking us on Facebook, and following us on Twitter.

In closing we would like to also ask you for your feedback about this website. We are working hard to make it an indispensible resource for all stakeholders, so your input is vital. Thank you for your visit, time and consideration.
